Considered by some to be "the Next Tuscany", this South East region in Italy is filled with magnificent history, food, and culture … and people. Lucky for me that both my parents were born and raised in the same small town just outside of Bari: Conversano.
I spent most of my childhood summers in Puglia … swimming in the Adriatic Sea, picking olives and cherries, hanging out on the farms and enjoying this beautiful by-the-sea lifestyle. Let’s not forget the delicious Mediterranean cuisine, complete with muscles, octopus, fava beans, and limoncello.
